The Department of Science and Technology Ilocos Region (DOST Ilocos Region) was recognized as 𝐆𝐑𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐖𝐈𝐍𝐍𝐄𝐑 – 𝐁𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐀𝐠𝐫𝐢-𝐓𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐦 𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 during the Agri-Tourism and Community Fair held from March 6–10, 2026, in celebration of the 𝟐𝟖𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐚𝐧 𝐅𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐨, 𝐋𝐚 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐧.
The DOST Ilocos Region booth showcased various science and technology programs, services, and innovations aimed at supporting agriculture, local industries, and community development. Through engaging exhibits and discussions, visitors were able to learn how science and technology initiatives help empower communities and promote sustainable growth in the region.
